I was wondering if this coin is a MS coin. 20220423_183001.jpg 20220423_183015.jpg

The hair above the ear looks to have some wear.

No, not MS. Hair, cheek, jaw, collar. Good wheat lines. Strong EF coin.

No. MS means Mint State. This coin has seen a lot of circulation.

I agree with Eddie. A very nice EF coin. Eddie pointed out the points of interest in grading. Keep in mind that on high visibility areas (date, mm, profile, etc.), any damage is a detractor. Circulation damage takes away quicker than a bag ding (from another coin in the bag). Also, anomalies in the fields that draw the eye away from the coin features are a detractor. We have a professional grader amongst us members...he can offer a more precise accounting.

A high EF coin for sure. On a good day you’d be lucky to get an AU-50 grade.

Great find in that condition, no matter the grade.

Almost perfect condition, got it from a friend in 6th grade, stored it, and forgot about it for 20+ years.
