I forgot I hadn’t posted this error from 1960. A Philadelphia issue that’s missing an area of the coin.

I know what you mean. I have detected many modern cents missing areas due to corrosion..
Of course there were no copper plated zinc planchets in 1960

 

Zinc Rot? On a copper coin? The date 1960, that’s 22 years before zinc was used in cents.

I was Kidding! We see many pictures of zincolns with rot that people think are errors.
