1898-O Morgan - is this Vam-14?

    This 1898-O appears to be a near (or very near) date, with just a hint of doubling under the first 8 in the date. There's a mild die break on the reverse that I don't see mentioned for the variety - perhaps that means it's a late stage example?

    Thoughts?

    Very nice looking coin. These are sometime very hard to discern without coin in hand. All I can say is I believe it to be a tilted 'O'. Compare to #8 and # 19 also.
    I believe some of the smaller die cracks are not listed on VAM pages.

    After comparing your images, I think it is VAM 19 due to date position and the right tilt to the MM
