Lund this today. I would like to know if this 1964-D silver quarter mint mark is 1964D-25C-RPM Fs-501?

Fs-501 RPM appears to be situated more to the right like the one in the photo below. This looks like a different variety to me. I collect these and have not come across one like yours yet. Your coin appears to be situated more to the bottom. Would it be possible to post another picture from a different angle? appreciate it.

Looks like there is a S under the D.

Sure does. It's most likely that it is just a well placed die chip.

The area south Richard is just die deterioration, or MD.

I'm not sure, but would love to know what "Lund" is.

I think that the San Francisco mint closed in 1955 and didn't reopen until 1968 .it a die chip.

The most interesting part of the mint mark is what is going on in the center of it. It does have a D/S look. The other part is simple machine/ejection doubling. I've seen this a lot on '64-D Washington Quarters.
