Paper Money: New Acquisitions

OK ... So when I got those Ukrainian notes they included this as a freebie. It must be a freebie because it’s not on the invoice and I didn’t pay for it. I don’t think that I would have outright bought it. I did however look it up which led my to a number of polymer bills that VietNam puts out. ... I DO love polys.

Chile 5 pesos or 1/2 condor - I just see Space Invaders.

 

this is old but i am looking to figure out what this uncut sheet 0f 2 dollar bills is worth

 

A picture is worth at least $2.

Whilst clearing out some things at home we came across some notes from Guernsey and Jersey, so not really new but hadn't seen for more than 20 years!

 

The polly notes are really good for durability and the colors are fantastic !

 

Picked up a higher-grade example of this Chinese 1 Yuan note from 1960, from the time of the not very successful (and many claim disastrous) "Great Leap Forward":

 

Very attractive note in beautiful condition.
Interesting that the obverse depicts China's first female tractor driver, Miss Liang Jun.

 

@ewomack, I believe that 1960 lady tractor driver I Yuan note is pretty popular. Great add (in lovely condition)!

Very fake, unfortunately. Take a look at the lower-left corner on the reverse, it's marked "facsimile."

 

OMG This is why I put this up here I am so bad at Confederate bills. I missed that completely.

 

Freakin’ Mexicans and Canadians. Why the why doesn’t the U.S. have cool $$$ currency like them?!? ... I picked this up today ... 50-pesos Poly.
