Pretty happy with this one. $15 for everything.

    Paper money:
Top: Korea 100 Won ND 1950-53
Bottom: Japan 5 yen ND 1942
    paper ob.jpg paper rev.jpg

    Unpriced coins (10)
ZAR 1894 penny (I didn't even have this type before)
    Japan 2 sen Meiji 14 = 1881
    Hong Kong 1877 cent
    Australia 1942 penny
    France 2 franc 1887 A (0.835 Ag)
    Denmark 1854 4 skilling rigsmønt (0.250 Ag)
    Sweden 1812 1/12 skilling
Iceland 5 aurar 1942 (nice copper luster)
Brazil 5000 cruzeiros 1992 (single year circulating commemorative)
    German Empire 1875 J (Hamburg) 2 pfennig
    Portugal 50 centavos 1938

Plus 15 coins from his 15 cent "junk bin"

I probably would have been happy just to get the ZAR penny for $15, so I felt like the
whole lot for $15 was an unusually good deal, especially with 2 silvers.

Oh, and here are my ID attempts for the junk. From top L:
    Ukraine 50 Kopiiok 1992
    Ukraine 25 Kopiiok 1992 x2
    Algeria 100 Dinars 1414 AH = 1993 AD
    Portuguese Angola 1949 10 Centavos
    Mexico 1 cent 1903
    Spain 5 centimos 1870
    Japan 10 yen older, milled edge-type Showa 29, 27 (1954, 1952)
    Sweden 2 Öre 1899
"El Mundo Feliz" token (I don't know which country--probably Mexico)
    Boston 1992 transit token
    Israel phone token?
    Parking token--City of Hayward
German Empire 1874 10 pfennig (can't read the mint, maybe B for Hannover)

It's a nice haul. If you don't know the Portuguese coin is a key date, though book values for Portuguese coins are greatly exaggerated. My favorite is actually the Algerian because I've never seen it before.

I did not know that, thanks. Looks like the mintages were all in the millions except 1935 and 1938 for the Portuguese 50 centavos. I'm useless at world coin grading. Would you say it's about a Fine?

I don't grade coins either so I can't help you there, but I'd say it's about average condition or better for these coins (I have a big Portuguese collection and I really focused on them for awhile). The 1935 and 1938 were made to use in the Azores.

Very nice. I especially like the notes and the Portuguese coin!

Very nice acquisition, an eclectic mix and some good examples. I am with @Hiddendragon and like the Algerian. I came across one about two years ago and pick them up whenever I come across them. I have these so far

VG at best. But it's fun to get 'keys' in this manner even if demand is pretty minimal.
