Most of the cents can be considered "Dogs" so that takes care of that.

Weirdo 's have always been allowed on this site, but every so often you have to throw a net on 'em. devil.gif

I don't know how much you folks watch movies, but about a year or so ago, there was a movie named "Alpha". It's supposed to be about "cave men" in that time period, but it has a story line of how man and dogs came to be. Great story. The "time element" is probably wrong, but my grandchildren were quiet for a while which gave me some peace and quiet.

Back on topic, I've already got some Canadian dogs on coins.

I really like the coins that depict our sports figures, especially those of the NBA, and I froth at the mouth when I see the colorized coins! NOT! Keep them out of the coins!

It's about time the U.S. Mint put a picture of themselves on a coin! They can sniff their own butts and call the team "Koin-Nine" or "K-Nine" for short!

That's the impression I got; I've got a few close friends online of the same sort.

Perhaps the US Mint will start a late-night TV show where they can barker their tinker toy coins. Some of their ideas are just childish.

Oh, he was, he said as much. I don't get triggered by furries, but any kind of monomania can get tiresome after a while.

Yeah, he had a one-track mind for that "dogs on coins" sorta thing, that would get old real quick. I wonder what his congressman's secretary thought about all that, I'm sure he was relentless.

A little presumptuous I see. Have you seen those dogs birth certificates or passports? I mean maybe they're just dogs on Canadian coins ;)

Good point. The series is called "Canada's Best Friends Silver Proof Set" but for all I know that Newfoundland is from Portugal :)

Then you want Isle of Man 1 Crown coins. They do a different breed of cat each year. I think they are up to 28 different breeds now. I do have all of them so far. Naturally they started with the Manx cat
