Is the plus + grade a real thing?

    Real, and at least for PCGS involves an eye appeal aspect as well

    The + is used for coins that don't quite make it to the next grade up.But are supposed to be much more better quality and attractive(eye appeal)the top of the line for that certain grade.The coin could have much better luster and toning then the average coin in that grade range ,that's when the + comes in(eye appeal).
