I think that is similar to the explanation in RWB's Saint-Gaudens book. I never knew what caused luster before.....thought it was more a case of smoothness than acutal microscopic roughness.
Based on the video, it might well be Prooflike, as it has considerably reflectivity, and does have nice cameo. The only way to be sure is to submit it for grading. The coin looks much nicer in the video than in the pictures. I like it!
Yes I'm planning on sending it in for grading to NGC along with some other Morgans, most of which either look similarly proof like or have incredible toning (I bought one with some really smooth green and red toning on the obverse and a ridiculously clean reverse, there's only one light hit otherwise there's nothing else, so the reverse looks straight off a MS66 or 67 Morgan)
