was wondering what the value of this coin is. Not many references online to get an idea of what to sell it for

    Thanks

Find the coin (date, MM, denomination, proof etc) on the e-bay sold listings. If you are wanting an approximate grade from members here, you need to post full size images (not thumbnails like above) of both obverse and reverse, well lit and in focus

@CeciliaS81 . Try this method. It usually works great! :)

a grade would be cool I hadn't even thought to ask that here. I was just wondering what a good price to sell it would be. The ones I saw on ebay were not the same rpm as the one I have

Yea, I use mine as a night light instead of using a lamp. I stopped using mine a year ago since I saw Bigfoot on a coin.
Seriously, I ONLY use mine if I have a super really hard time seeing something which is very seldom. If you want some of kind of answer, I will say us a decent "stand" for it playing around the lighting issues and anomalies found on various coins that usually turn out to be nothing.

Condition is everything. We need to see the whole coin.

How is it possible to find other coins if none are technically know?so based on the last picture this might be a huge discovery coin.It might be worth certification but first I would also like to see full pictures of the obverse and reverse for evaluation.

@CeciliaS81 …there are several things that must be determined before you get the right price tag on this coin:
    1. Grade, 2. Cameo, 3. RPM Attribution.

Full Image pictures here will give us a chance to get you in the right ballpark.

The grade range could be anywhere from 65-69. It appears to be a normal PF/Proof, but could be PFCA/Proof Cameo or even PFUC/Proof Ultra Cameo. And the special feature of RPM needs validating.

To do all 3 you will need to send it to a grading service like ANACS, NGC or PCGS.

Once certified and attributed you can have it auctioned by Heritage Auctions, Stacks-Bowers or Great Collections.

This is an important coin. At PFUC69 it is listed @ NGC for over $1,000.00 without taking the RPM into consideration. You have to decide to get it slabbed and whether or not you want to maximize its’ exposure by an auction service.

Honestly, using your thumbnail pics of the mintmark, I believe it is a normal proof, no cameo and worth around $75.00 or so, but I don’t claim expertise for valuing RPM coins…IMO…Spark

It is known, Wexler RPM-002. OP is trying to find a value and as I said an approx grade from the members here could give a ballpark figure.
Obviously, if it were an unknown RPM it would have to be attributed, but that is not the case here.

The grade is the condition of it. You know, like USDA Prime, Choice and Select. Once you know that, you can estimate the price.

    It has a mirror-like finish. I believe that's a cameo

Pictures aren't the best but because of those milk spots and what's going on with the reverse I would give it a details grade. If I were you don't send it in to the top 2 because of this but possibly ANACS for Grading and attribution.

Ok it just says that on the op's first post on welxers website.Sometimes they do document these before they are technically verified.I looked for others for possible value but couldn't find anything.

Could be the lighting,or that they are still thumbnails and not posted full size, but it is difficult to see how much of a cameo effect there is in those images.
