1000.00 bucks for die chip wheaties ! Tell me who your customers are. I got a whole bunch I'll sell you.
It's like @GH#75 said about errors, "they just aren't easily found in circulation."
It's exciting to find something out of the ordinary and we all would be on top of the world if we found a 'holy grail' error or variety. 90% of the time what looks like a mega-find is just post mint damage. But we keep on looking because the hunt is half the adventure.
You say it's hard to get the truth. If you are referring to You Tube or Facebook then I agree with you. When it come to this site though, you're wrong. The collectors here are feeding you good dope. And they even debate back and forth between one another until the right judgement is made about your question(s).
I hope you continue to post and not be quite as disheartened when advice is given other than what you hoped for.

Might I respectfully suggest you hang out here and read numerous posts before you jump to conclusions about the members, some of which are highly experienced and respected.

I gave you a chance. People are trying to help you. By your own admission you know nothing about coins, yet tell people quit giving you bad advice. Seems you don't really want help, just trying to ruffle feathers.

Truth is hard to find as so many don't know it and yet want to appear they do.This is in every
field of life. The only way to be successful is to depend on one's own hard earned knowledge through education.

Due is for changing the color of clothes or making different colored Easter Eggs. Die is was is used to mint coins. And yes, die chips and cracks are very common.

you will find odd looking coins in change but 99.9% are just common coins with minor issues but that slim % that one does find something unusual in change

but that is a very slim chance of finding anything of high value in change

For the record, it's planchet, not planchette.

A planchette is used for Occult purposes.
