I agree with Mike, why in the world would you pay to have them slabbed? Sorry, but that seems pretty pointless to me.
Ok Mr. Noodle, let me rephrase: Pick two of the best and if they qualify submit them for grading. Based on the coin the fella posted, there just might be some nice coins in the bag but I personally don't know. Only he would know. Sheesh!
Each to his own - I can't sell the things for anything much over .50 cents each no matter what shape thier in - I hate them! I hope after you've been into coins for awhile you'll learn to appreciate what a really beautiful quarter looks like. These have not been minted since 1930. Just after awhile, and I really do want you to stick around, buy a mint state Std. Lib. Quarter and choose any satin quarter you want. Lay then side by side on your desk for a week and each day look at them at arms length and then tell us what beauty really is? Just a thought for you.
 The one posted was just one I grabbed to preview and post the texture. It is by far the best in the bags
That would be my take on the matter, either overruns, of satin finsh quarters or Satin finish dies that weren't needed for the mint sets and were just used for regular production. (That happens as well.)
I beg to differ with some of the posts. $25 bags of the 2009 state quarters regularly sell for $10-$15 more on EBay. I have sold about 10 over the last couple of months.
No. I'm agreement that the opened bag holds face value unless he wants to sell them individually or in tubes. It is possible not to get 'stuck' with them.
