All of my Canadians here cost me less than 50 dollars. I am really happy with these coins and the price I paid for them; I got these from USA Coinbook.

I recently bid on a lot of 13 coins, 11 US and 2 Mexican. My main target was a 1842 large cent, the 1912 s was an after thought as it appeared to be harshly cleaned in the poor photo of the group of coins. It turned out that the 12 s was the star coin of the lot as it is a uncleaned woody and the 1842 was a details coin. Not shown is an AU 1902 IHC and a number of worn early Lincoln Wheat cents. The cost of the 13 coins $43.29 including overseas shipping.
Sent in the last of the 62 Mint Set, which was the 62-D Dime and Quarter. The dime got a tad lower than expected (MS66 FT), but the quarter was a real winner. Results from this $40 mint set: 1962-D Nickel=MS65 1962-D Dime=MS66 FT 1962-D Quarter=MS66+ 1962-D Half Dollar=MS65 Overall not a bad haul, and I didn't even send in the cent or anything from the P set.
Rescued from an ICG slab as "details" corroded .....an 1849 V-8a R-4 An acetone bath was all that was needed to turn this $50 purchase into a $150 variety. The coin as most half dimes have or havd had heavy album toning on them. To say that this specimen hasn't been dipped or cleaned pre my ownership would be 99.9% wrong....but , just about 90% of them have been cleaned at one point. Still a die marriage slot filled and a rare one at that.
I can't help but notice the coin says " The Federal Union--Must and Shall By Preserved" Is that an error or just the odd way people spoke back then?
