    If those letters are incused (pressed in) that would be an after mint accident. Somehow another coin was pressed against the cent too hard. Copper is a soft metal and image transfer is fairly common.

    Possible but most likely PMD. squeeze job. I see enough damage/contact on the obverse to be skeptical.

    It's reversed and looks incused so most likely a vise job(dmage).
