Everyone who is a Boy Scout or was These I think will be the center piece of many collections to receive the Coin Collecting Merit Badge My guess these will be snapped up by Den Leaders and parents for their Scout children If they limit production it could get very interesting Just My 2 Cents Stewart
Honestly do a search and you will find there was a long discussion about this. I am still up in the air if I want to or not. I may just to keep my commemorative sets going
I have heard that same sentiment from a great number of people ever since the announcement that the Mint was going to put them out. A lot from people that do not even collect coins. Stewart
nope, tired of the mints not having blanks for eagles but they can manage to make plenty of other commemorative coins
The commemorative coins were authorized by Congress long before the shortage of ASE blanks. Yes, I will buy one.
Agreed, I really don't like how the boy scouts basically demanded that the coin have a girl on it to represent the venturing program. I was a boy scout, but I'm going to pass on the coin. I'll continue to support the scouts by direct donations to the local troops and buying popcorn and stuff like that.
I'll pick up both the Unc and the Proof, great present for my Eagle Scout son-in-law. This may be the earliest I have ever bought a Christmas present.
The Mint says 350,000 of these. Would the ratio be about 2 to 1 in favor of the proofs ? Sell out ???
I am an Eagle Scout so I will get several. 1 proof for my self and 3 unc for kids. The unc will be good eagle scout presents for my kids in the future?
