..i went to 'the table of coins' to get pics n stuff together for show n tell for medieval monday and got to thinking about when i got the coin and looked down on the sheet i printed up from wiki and it was like WOW>>>>...check it out...and i started at around 12 15..now i'd printed the sheet up 12 hours earlier exactly 10 years ago to the day.....thought i'd share it wid ya.. I had an "all the sixes" moment back in 2006, which I photographed the next morning. On 6th June 2006 - 06.06.06 as I was driving home from work, I noticed that the odometer had hit 66666 miles, exactly as the tripmeter hit 66.6 miles This was complete coincidence - I don't recall when I'd set the tripmeter, it had probably rolled over from when I measured some journey. Anyway, I didn't stop, but continued home and took a photo' the next morning, as it was too good not to record. Through the miracle of Google Photos, I still have it (I no longer have the car): Interestingly, the distance I'd travelled from the "all the sixes" moment to home was 0.6 miles, so the tripmeter was then at 67.2! Funnily, that suggests that the odometer was at 66666.6 miles when the tripmeter was at 66.6 miles The timestamp, showing the June 7th date - I'm not sure why it says GMT+2, it should be +1, but anyway: Apart from the coincidence with all the 6s, there was nothing else remarkable about the day.
