Its a cool hobo nickel! I think the carver is Tennessee Mike aka New York Mike when in lived in New York. I talked to him on the phone once- really awesome guy.

I once saw a flying eagle cent that was carved in a flying penis.

 

It was a common carving back during that era!

 

I know. I do have a Liberty Seated Silver Dollar that was carved to have a man with her. Both are seated but I can’t post as I would be banned. I was offered $300 but it’s not for sale. Never seen another.

 

Its worth a lot more them 300! Ha.com has been getting some impressive hobo nockel listings lately.
