Moderator, please close this thread, as it turned from a friendly grading discussion to me being stalked by a new member. Thank You, and good wishes to everyone who replied positively, and constructively.
You started it by picking on a poor newbie that was just trying to give an opinion. Why didn't you call out others that replied?
You can do what you want, but perception is everything, but in most cases its wrong. Blocking him is your loss not his, there is a wealth of coin knowledge in that old Dog! The member in question has been around the block of coins like your big silver for a very long time. He gave you a view you didn't like, but he wasn't rude, you just didn't like his view, you bit first with your "No-Nothing Newbie" comment and then reported him for a rebuttal... Nice coin! Carry On.....
How is this coin not a 65, or 65+?
Maybe the marks in the fields I/F/O and behind and on Miss Liberty's neck?
Let us know how this one comes back. I'm not seeing 65, either. These OGHs aren't all undergraded. This one's too dirty on the front end for gem, as others have suggested. No reason to get triggered for it. Let the TPG do the talking, let us see what it gets.
Many of the OGH coins that were under graded have been resubmitted. Many of those that remain are riding on the myth of being under graded.
I am not worried about it. I have a 1992o MS 65 PL that I have posted a few times before, and it is nicer than this coin. This coin is a pretty coin in hand. It has pale gold toning that is very light. It is a keeper at whatever grade. With all the stuff going on in the Ukraine, there are far more serious issues than this coin. I’m rather upset about it, as I am half Ukrainian, so I was being kinda testy.
Forgotten. Thanks for the reply. Terrible situation, there. Hard as I try I just can't process it happening as it is in this day and age.
No, wait a minute! You're off on this polite crap & constructive comments, but in your interpretation of that. This takes us back to perception is everything, but in most cases its wrong. Your perception of my last comment was, I wasn't polite, really? I guess all the people around you have to humble themselves with honey baths of politeness before they can comment to one of your post. So, you would have excepted my comment if it went something like this, ///////////// Mr. Morgandude, I don't mean to come across in any negative manner, but if you could PLEASE take a look at your comment where you stated to another member that he was a "No-Nothing Newbie" due to his polite response to your coin in the original post (OP) it may shade some light to his less polite follow up post. Thank you so much! God Bless, stay safe, Hugs&Kisses Bones65.
OK folks , no one has gone over the line, except in civility, but it is getting closer. If people didn't disagree with TPGrading, no one would crack out holders in hopes of a better grade for value. There are very few TPG newbies on here, so everyone, if you disagree ( pro or con) then you can state why, and there is no need to be snide, condescending, snarky, etc. It reflects on yourself. When I disagree with a TPG, I may crack it out and resubmit, but (1) if it comes back higher, I was right or (2) Same or worse , I was wrong, Why complain when you made the choice? I really hate to lose people who can contribute to the forum, but sometimes it happens. Jim
This is pretty hostile. I have no quarrel with you, either. I never said a hostile word to you. I am willing to bury the hatchet, and start over.
@desertgem Rule #2 – Personal attacks are not permitted...... there will be no name calling. "Another no-nothing newbie." That's not a very warm welcome to the CT forums
