while roll searching and thinking about finding an '82' small date zinc DDR, I came across this '82' large date copper cent. I check all 82's so upon checking the reverse of this one I believe that the 'A' and the 'M' in AMERICA have either a doubled die or machine doubling. Again after spending at least three hours with the scanner and editing program this is what I came up with. What do you think. You can make it out with the naked eye but just barely.
Thanks you guys. The 82 lg date copper isn't listed as having a DDR so I didn't expect too much but I had to check it out with you. THANKS-- zeke
Please learn to see the flat shelve-like type doubing - if it looks scooted, pushed or pulled 99.9% of the time it's not a doubled die.
