I have a 1986 $2 bill and the serial number is EBB, but I can't find anywhere that has this number! Please help me determine its worth! Thanks
A picture would help us help you. Typically, catalogues (or online sources) don't provide info on any note's particular prefix unless the prefix is tough or rare. Hundreds of full prefixes (10,000,000 each) were released so they publish prefix ranges, such as "BC-56b-i Thiessen-Crow EBA-EBZ." That's where your EBB $2 note would be. Catalogue is FV to $6 in Gem UNC.
Sorry, NO. You really need to find a way to show us what you have. As I've said in previous posts, maybe you can use a scanner to image the items and then upload it.
I’ve read a number of your threads, even responded to a few. Without phones it’s all guess work. Please attach photos to all your threads in the future. Thanks.
The 2022 Charlton Catalog of Canadian paper money lists 1986 $2 bills with serial numbers EBA-EBZ as having a printing of 220,000,000 and a worth in "GEM UNC" (the highest grade listed) as $6 (so this corroborates with the post above). Here is my 1986 $2 Canadian bill (I love that series's bird themes):
