    So why would two errors of the same type carry any difference of increase in value other then quantity of specimens known?

    Worn die issue.. Grease filled die
    Thet shouldn't have a premium.

    @igotchange

    What you are missing is simple..

    Whatever premium you have seen listed on eBay or any other place are ridiculous. Don't believe and fall for that garbage.

    Hang in there, don't get discouraged. Keep reading coin talk. You will learn. Keep searching, you may find some interesting coins. Million dollar coins, maybe not. It's still a great hobby. Happy collecting!

    I am a Christian man and I would pay a premium for an "In God We Rust" coin. I think they are humorous and I know God has a sense of humor. I am proof of that.... But the filled "T" in Trust makes for an interesting and amusing coin. The filled "L" in Liberty is rather ho-hum.

    Hey hey, keep trying. Believe me, all have gone through it. Some have been collecting for years. I’m a beginner as well and have learned to go with my gut and look it up, etc and not post. And don’t get offended. It’s a lot into it which I’m no where near but going through my dad’s coins has been fun and a blessing along with smiles and finding interesting coins. Keep on looking.

    I have collected coins and bills over 50 years and I can honestly say I learn something every time I get on this site. (some times I don't want to learn certain things) but none-the less, always be willing to learn.

    I believe your questions have already been answered, but I would like to give you my standard advice on photographs.

    For the best results, you should post "in focus," FULL IMAGE photos (after you upload your photo, two buttons appear: Thumbnail and Full Image, click Full Image and your photo appears full size on your post and are easily enlarged by clicking on it). Photograph coins on neutral backgrounds like black, grey, or white. Crop out superfluous background so just the coin shows (you can use https://www.remove.bg for free), and post photos with correct orientation so members don't have to turn their computer in some awkward fashion to view it properly. While it isn’t always necessary, it is nice to show both the obverse and reverse, even if your question is just about one side. Members can often give more valuable information having both sides to evaluate. Add close ups of areas you have questions about and make your questions as definitive as possible so we know what you are asking for. And try to have the best lighting possible to show the most favorable photo of the coin. Hope this helps in the future. Good luck.

    Here's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! Since joining Coin Talk, I have put more than a few coins in the "Not Really An Error" pile, that I had previously determined were "ERRORS"! Either that or they are back in circulation!! On the other hand, I have found an RPM, some strike throughs, some cracked dies and several with die chips!!! Before Coin Talk, I didn't even know such things existed!!! You have probably already realized that Coin Talk is a place full of great information and other collectors anxious to help new and old members alike if you are willing to listen and learn!!! So, keep searching, researching, and posting your finds! Your great find is out there! Just be patient!!

    It might be important to that "IBERTY MUTUAL" Salesman we see on commercials.

    They hold all the insurance on my office. I send them a letter each year with their premium increases telling them I want a deduct for their advertising budget which appears to be exorbitant to me!

    I got into this because of different reasons with my dad’s coins. I am out of my league clearly. It is fun searching but to say I do this all day, nope!
    Thank you for your advice. :joyful:
