A mysterious denar and nice fibula..

    I found this mysterious denar, S.Severus or Caracalla, worn piece, but it seems to me that someone tried to write something on obverse and reverse..Weight is 3 gr..

    @galba68......Interesting coin!....Love the fibula, is that glass inlay or enamel?

    That reverse of the denarius is really interesting. Those scratches were clearly done on purpose.

    FF02, the whole coin is very precisely cut around..I have never seen anything like it before..And the coin is 2.2o gr., my mistake...

    Obviously it's cuneiform, proving that the Sumerians reached Eastern Europe.

    LOL. Better than my guess, that it's Runic, proving that the ancient Teutons and Vikings got as far south as that.

    The inscription on the reverse is clearly a treasure map to where the horde of Areus are buried...
