All normal for the years in question.
A "WAM" will have the space between the AM and ME equal.

Here is my 1999 WAM for an example:

    Keep looking!
In my ~$20,000 of cents searched, I've found around 100 each of 98 and 00 and only two 99 WAMs.
They're out there but they aren't as common as one would think.

Well I’m just looking through bunches of coins that were for my father. They all look alike after a while lol. I just find this one… but again, they all look the same lol. Thank you.

If they are all starting to look the same, take a break. Give your eyes some time to readjust.

Thanks. Yes he had so many of different assortments. I had posted some when I first joined. I kind of made a fool of myself but it was fun just finding the dates and history of a coin.
    Thanks again.

stole this off another thread on here.
no offense to the creator of it, I reposted for informational purposes only.
die deterioration might play with the spacing of the A and M a bit, as will circulation hits, you should also use the distance of the FG it's much closer to the memorial base than on the close AM

I really like when you can put good examples of coins and the differences of close am and wide am also the 3 over 2 war nickel I print them and I'm trying to make a loose leaf book on as many varieties I can get to copy . Thanks for helping me out I'm almost 79 years old and any help is welcomed.

I'm glad it helps. if you are looking for a variety, it helps to know what exactly you are looking for and the ways to verify it. totally fine to also like the regular coins. in fact I have sets I've been working on forever from circulation that basically run from 1910 to current for cents, 1913 to current for nickel, 1916 to current for dime, 1932 to current for quarter, half dollar coins, dollar coins. i like it all myself, probably never going to call my sets "complete" either, but that's fine with me.

I liked how they were in good shape. My dad had a bunch of coins. Foreign as well so it’s been fun going through them. Not sure why I like pennies so much but other coins are just as interesting. Thanks again.

We all have our favorite to be honest, may like a lot of different things, but theres always the one type of coin we all fall back on as the favorite.

The main point is that you have fun actually, so glad to hear it been fun! Take care and be well.
