You ever have a coin that you were getting ready to sell, and then pulled it back at the last minute because you just really like something about the coin? Happened to me yesterday. I've been imaging a bunch of coins from my collection to list online (I've been doing really well, knocked my raw 2x2 coins down by at least a third so far) and I got as far as imaging this coin before deciding it needed to stay with me for a little while longer: Egypt - AH 1378 (1959) 10 Piastres KM 392 Mintage: 500,000 Anyone else have a coin like this that's earned a similar reprieve from the chopping block? Feel free to share them.
Ugh, I did it again...for some reason I just like this coin's...simplicity? It's as thick as a Piedfort, too, which makes it like a little silver hockey puck. This is like the fourth time I've almost sold it, though...so it probably will be among the next round of cuts:
I'm doing my best to pare everything down until that's all that's left - pieces I really appreciate. Plus, hopefully that will be a lot easier to carry around if/when we have to move.
