Found a 1961 d penny that is the size of a German 1 pfennig. Weighs 2.5g edges are smooth like normal rim?
LOL, you are joking, aren't you? Someone just mangled that cent and now I wouldn't even accept it as a spendable cent.
I have a couple of dozen of them, as noted above they were ground down by @derkerlegand to use to make phone calls and buy soda from machines - vending machines back in the 1960s took coins based on a rough weight and not an electric signature so they could be fooled into accepting them.
