1954 S nickel S/D FS-501

Actually I think I was just imaging the scratch looks more like stage B or C.

 

The scratch appears to be there so more likely to be stage A. Can you get shots of the die scratches upper left and right of Monticello

 

I believe your MM is just corrosion, the other the beginning of a cud.

 

The mm is not corrosion it's the real deal,I agree the coin isn't in the best Shape.

Yes I see it now,is there anything I can do to fix it up or let it be.

 

Looks to be past that point now. A rinse in acetone put in a flip or folder. Write down it's attributes and enjoy it
