1. how can a 1994 have a RPM when in 1991 they became part of the master die? and is that a very small off center? 2. got as a gift with purchase. 3,4 and 5. pretty sure PMD, nut anyone wanna speculate what could have happened? 5 & 6. die crack or after strike damage or PMD?
1. Because that is not an RPM. It is Split Plating. Common issue on the D mint mark for Copper plated zinc planchets. 2. Off Center? You really need to show the full coin. Obverse and Reverse. 3. The issue under the word LIBERTY is a gouge. Post Mint Damage. 4. The 1975 Cent is circulation wear on the date and probably a small Die Chip on the mint mark. 5. A die Crack is a crack on the Die itself. When the Die strikes the blank planchet the metal from the planchet will flow into the crack and appear raised. It does not crack the planchet. If you see something incused into the coin it is probably a scratch.
pics 4 5 and 6 are just bent the entire coin is a t 90 degree angle... i am not sure what you are discussing in relation. I thought someone did it like on purpose. lol dont confuse me more ! my brain is going to explode lmao
and yay! i got the die chip on the 75 right! just read up on split plating. keep the learning going on. it does look like rpm but now i understand why..ty..
Bent coins are PMD - Post Mint Damage. Not an error. I don't want to confuse you I am explaining the easiest way possible.
I cant. That is the most i can get into the field on my scope. But it was just idle chit chat. I figured u guys would be offended, telling me how dare i , of course u know what one of those look like just joking.
Even though they say my phone's camera is supposed to be top notch, it isn't. Far from it. believe me if I was taking pictures with it -- well, you would be sending me that long list of suggestions on how to take better pictures! lol
