I'm sure others have detected the areas your searching - obviously the combination of your skill and a good machine assist in finding what others missed.

Have you had your detecting class yet? If not, you don’t need it. If so, it helped. That’s quite the haul. So many more neat coins and other items. Congratulations Paddy but 8 hours? It was cold here yesterday and it snowed 2” overnight.

That Star of David in concentric flowers looks very interesting.
Unfortunately I can't make out any of the text.
It looks like something from the Kabbalah, or perhaps a mandala.
Wait... here we go. I think it's related to the Hindu Shri Yantra.

    This was my first location..

It was almost 60 Degrees in NYC with a nice cool breeze. I was there for 3 hours. Took a cab to the next park and had my lunch before going to detect again ;)

Next time I'm heading to Forest Park :watching:

It is more like a weird all around design incused into the copper.
    Thanks for your help..

Nice finds! How do people find marbles with detectors? Do you just see it as you dig up another signal?

    Thanks!

    Great question
Yes, marbles are surface finds that I eyeball or sometimes when you're digging they actually pop out with a coin! Same for neat pottery pieces.

I save the marbles and dice

The way you displayed that marble makes it look like it was a jewel mounted on silver. LOL
Love the "church key" from St. Lucia. LOL

Nice finds and worth the hours you put in while suffering in that 60º heat. LOL
