Welp, I’d have thought mistakenly that your friend would have mentioned why he’d wanted another. Perhaps it’s implied. I didn’t have a bad experience but it took me awhile to figure out his motivation. Using friendship this one guy had several people working on building his set. Sometimes at cost. I’d made a pop 1 total pop 1 years ago and because I wouldn’t give it to him, our friendship ended, his doing. It was a $5K coin.

    John Skelton Morgan man!

I understand. This coin came up in my coin club auction and I paid a mere $18 for it. It was listed as a DDO and the 2x2 gives the CPG number which I checked out. The one he has isn't A DDO so he was interested in this one.

He has no coin club or dealer in his town so besides the two of us working on our collections together, I also email him the bid sheet I get before my club meeting as a service. Then he lets me know what he wants and his bid limit. I also know I'm not the only one who does this at my club.

Whew! You asked in the beginning if they all were doubled. Do you think all of the quarters minted that year came from the same die? Come on man!
