...and I don't know where it came from I recently found out a guy at work casually colletcs coins, mostly from pocket change. I've kinda taken him under my wing. Been giving him coin publications I'm done reading, have taken him to the coin shop a couple times. And gave him a few coins. Nothin special, some wheaties and foreign coins. Today he comes up to me and hands me a flip, and says "Did you give me this?" (He has a really bad memory) I look, and was suprised to see that its a new 2010 Cent!!! He said it was on his kitchen floor! I was kinda excited to see it, lol.
I'm still waiting to see one here in Wisconsin. I patiently waited for the 2009s, until I grew impatient and bought all eight on the bay.
I guess he thought I might have given it to him and then maybe he dropped it?? I'm not sure. Like I said, he's really forgetfull, and sometimes I wonder where his mind is. Anyway, I've been looking all over for these things, and one pops up on his floor! Just my luck, lol.
None here even stopped in and asked at a couple of banks and nothing, I still have not seen 2009 nickels or dimes.
yup exact same for me i was waiting for the 2009's and couldn't find them. so bought them at my local coin store
Adam: I just found my first 2009 Log Cabin in pocket change this past weekend. That's the first and only one I've found in circulation to date. This excludes the LN6 Chronicles coins and 4 pc. Proof sets I bought straight from the Mint. That was the first 2009 cent I received since the Professional Life cent you sent me a few months ago! Haven't seen any 2010 Shields yet up here.
Haven't seen the new cent yet, but did get a 2010 coin in change today, two actually. It's of the presidential dollar, Millard Fillmore.
