I have wheat pennys what are they worth

    One is 1934, 1937, 1938, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1944, 1946, 1953d, 1956d, all in great shape does any one know how much they are worth? Help please I will try to take photos and post. thanks

    the condition/grade of coins are critical determine price, please post some photos. common dates average circulated wheats about 3 cents each, uncirculated few dollars and up

    2 cents to 3 cents each - if gem uncirculated maybe a couple dollars each (maybe more) depending on condition, marks, cleaning, spots, wear - and you thought this was going to be easy right?

    This answer couldn't be more correct. In all likelihood, "great shape" means they have been circulated a fair amount but sill look nice. I could see them being in the VF, maybe XF range which means they are each worth a couple cents. These dates are very common and although neat, aren't very valuable.
