I've seen quite a few 21P's that look like your "sintered" quarter. I've been tossing them back.

"Sintered" doesn't accurately describe this type of error and the usage has fallen out of favor. The preferred term is improper annealing. See the error-ref link

    https://www.error-ref.com/?s=Improper+annealing

I'm not sure if your coins are improperly annealed. The best way to verify us to look at the edge. Per Fred Weinberg (A couple threads are in the archives), the reeding should be bright like a normal coin. If the edge and copper core are dull or the same color as the struck surface, then its not an error.

The reason is that improper annealing affects the surface metal and doesn't go very deep below. As the coin is ejected from the Reeded collar, the small amounts of the edge surface are scrapped away leaving in reacted metal

I believe the OP still has me blocked, which means he won't see this info, but hopefully it will be useful to other members.

The op needs not block any member who's tryiny to educate them on the correct information on this subject matter. After reading several of the op 's threads it seems they missed the reading is fundamental. Before one begins to throw down money on errors it helps if one understood the hows and whys the error occurred.
Please understand that this isn't being posted to put you down...but to educate you !
You throw away good money on errors that are so insignificant....a dateless clip is a $10 coin unless its registery quality. ....meaning 66 and up .
A friendly piece of advice....your lack of experience in this part of Numismatics is not up to par with the purchases you make....you are spending tons of money on errors that are not worth the price points you post or paid.
Reading ,research in coin collecting fundamental , it not something you aquire the knowledge in one day.....and late night surfing ebay.
Lastly there are so many members whom like myself have a passion for this hobby. 99.99% of those members want to educate you, help you to understand and appreciate the hobby more.
You're not going to appreciate the fact that the $5000 you spent on errors that aren't worth t
But a small fraction of that 5k. When you try and sell them...

many, and i mean many of the raw coins i have paid from 2.00 to 150.00, if slabbed, would be 4 to 20 times what i have paid, when i am in doubt i ask here, i have such a question out now for a triple clipped, o/c quarter, there are 40 bidders, so i guess i am not the only mis-informed coin collector out there..and yet, noanswers from the so-called experts, post has been up 7 hours already, i quit bidding at 92.00, might wait till the end and go 200.00 just for the heck of it, multi errors are usually a bit high..and the o/c ike i got for 45.00, well same grade slabbed for 400.00 on heritage the other day, i hhave over 12,000 errors, only 200 or so are slabbed, and i started collecting only 2 years ago, (took 30 years off from it, and never collected errors before, just morgans and silver bars)..i have read over 45 books on errors and read online daily when i see interesting articles, but for people to say my coins are fake (when i buy from Fred Weinberg and others in the business for many many years, like Sullivan and great collections, is ridiculous. .anyways...

Yes you see them....have you ever seen how many sold at that price point? I just sold to a well known member here last week all ms 64+ Jeffersons 8 errors and threw in another for coin for free..under $150. I am again not trying to give you a hard time... go look over in the for sale threads...my post for sale last week. They sold because of price and quality.....not hype and an over inflated price.

at heritage, quite a few in the 200 and up prices realized, for off metal, off center, out of collar, clamshell, you name it, if it is slabbed, almost anything they list goes sky high, even coins i myself have paid from 2.00 to 30.00, i see going for ridiculous hammer and another 50-120.00 fees for final, i am not on here to argue with anyone, i think collecting holed coins is stupid, do i say it, no, i say nice coins and move on, i am not a nitpicker, no matter what i say or do, i can say i got a 00-s vdb 30% o/c and clip, certified, and i paid 500, someone will still say i am an idiot, because they can get em for 5,00, so i give up, my coins suck, everyone else's are better, i should just go away and die, ok, i will stop posting, i did not know i was making that many people upset with showing my coins, you guys are alla bunch of nitpickers that only find any honor and fun in belittling other's collections, i am done, no more posts, ok, you win, good bye, see ya!!! i was enjoying myself, but now i cannot on here, too many trolls, and know it alls, bye bye

Collect what you like. Who cares what everyone else thinks? Are you gonna get rich? No probably not. Will you make your money back if you decide to sell? Hopefully.
Does it really matter as long as you are having fun and enjoying the hobby? Nope.

Like Rick said, we are all living through stressful times. Take a break and relax. Enjoy the hobby.
