Is anybody interested in this Commem? There are a total of 350,000 being produced including both proof and uncirculated. Introductory price Proof = $39.95 Regular price = $43.95 Introductory price Uncirculated = $33.95 Regular price $35.95 Surcharge of $10 going to Disabled Veterans LIFE Memorial Foundation. Will this be a popular commem or another Braille commem?
I'm not much of a commems collector but I like the idea of supporting the vets while indulging my hobby. I think this one will be popular especially among this group.
I'm a "modern Commem" guy but closer to home, my wifes Dad was DAV. I'd buy these issues anyway but they will hold special significance in honor of "Angies" Dad....
I'm hooked on these after buying them from the mint from the start of the program. It's hard for me to stop a set after all these years. I love the coins but hate the price.
i like the design. it also holds a significant importance for our men and women of the armed forces. i think it is a must have. :thumb:
SInce i'm a soldier and a few good buddies are disabled from OPEF and OPIF i'm definatley gonna add one to my collection
I am going to make my first purchase from the mint. I would like to buy 2 and 2. Is there any benefit to buying more proofs and if so when you send them to get graded is it harder for a proof to get graded MS 70? I have noticed most proofs only get a 69. There is also an additional charge for the packaging. Would you just buy the coin or is the packaging worth the extra expense? Thanks, Dave:thumb:
Like the design, like the idea, like the fact vets get some of the money. Ill be getting one of each, maybe two.
