Picked up a nice Huna Empire coin/ struck by Kidarites initation of Kushano-Sasasanian Feudatories AV Dinara from Vahram I/ struck usual crude style. Huna Empire/ Kidarites AV Dinara ND Boxlo Mint 7.43g. 36mm. 12h Kidara I 425-57AD obv: Depicts Vahram wearing Lotus Crown/ sacrificing at altar rev: Siva with Bull "Nandi" behind
A very nice pickup, @panzerman. In addition to the design, I like the coin's large size (36mm). An eye candy!
John, Nice score ! I noticed the Kushan/Persian gold wasn't going for the crazy prices that sessions 1-3 were getting. I did bid on 8 lots between session 5 & 6, winning 1 lot in session 5 & 2 in session 6, but won't post them until they arrive. It was frustrating sitting through the last two session, I lost my connection over a dozen times . I don't know if it was them or my computer . I'm still waiting for the first two lots I won on January 11 . CNG is getting even slower than Heritage in getting the lots in the mail .
Thanks Al/ I tend to look at a CNG grade in EF as a slabbed CH-MS. I do not mind waiting/ I now have past three years of CNG wins (12 coins) sitting to be sent to my in-laws. They will bring them up on next "Family" get together/ which has been difficult past two years I have 65 coins sitting on hold with Heritage. That will be a nice box to open on Christmas morning! John
