Do you know what the tellers used to do with those? Throw them away. That was back when just about every bank had a counting machine, which really wasn't that long ago. The machines would reject those. Not always, but mostly. I talked our tellers into saving them for us. Some of it, as I recall, was even rejected U.S. coin. If you can find a bank with a counting machine, it's worth a try to get friendly with the teller manager. If the bank manager gets on it, they'll likely give you trouble, though. Mostly, anyway, because it looks odd. Also, you want to buy the bags off the machines, if they'll let you do that, before they get to the reserves. Another thing the managers don't particularly like. Helps if you got a lot of money in there. Just crack the whip and watch them jump like trained seals. Ah, the good old days...
