Cool! How did you find out that the bank had those, any suggestions how I find which bank can do this for me?

I use a Credit union.. But Many Banks have these machines.. The trick is getting them to give you the Bags.. I tricked a couple by saying "The Other branch sells me the Bags right from the Machine.. Can you? Or Do you have a Bag in the Vault on its way out?"

I also have 3 accounts at 3 Different Banks.. I ONLY unload the Coins at One Bank.. and NEVER ask for Change from them.. They just see me dump piles of coins.. Then ask for Currency to search..

    from an eBay roll

I broke down and bought one of those allegedly "un-searched wheat rolls" from eBay and it came in the mail today. Dear lord I will never do that again. The most interesting coins in the whole roll were worth about 3 cents each but they were pretty shiny for being as old as they are. As a matter of fact the 1943 looks a little too shiny. Is it doctored or can you really find circulated 1943 coins that look like this or even the 1956 for that matter ?

Went through a bag of halves and it was an interesting one.
    I found
    115 2002 halves
    165 2003 halves
    76 2004 halves
    185 2005 halves
    91 2009 halves
    1 1964
    2 1976-S proofs
and my favorite find a 1951-S fanklin with interesting toning

I've definitely found coins like the '56 in circulation. The '43 cents are often replated. Too bad about the fingerprint...

    Nice Box

    The "medical Franklin," lol. Nice.

I've been out of town for most of the week, but did get a box yesterday morning before I left again. It was a very nice box. I found:
    1 2004
    1 1990s in great shape

    Silver
    6 40%ers
    2 64
    2 Franklins....63 and 50d
    1 Walker :D.....41

If possible can someone list which banks actually sell the bags out of the machines? I know TD wont sell me them because they aren't "guaranteed" to have the amount in the bag.

Stopped by a 5/3 bank today and they had $67.50 in halves in a bag, and 99 Ikes! Haven't had a chance to go through them yet.

Went to the bank yesterday to get my box of half dollars. I tried a different branch. They ordered in a box of quarters. Wow. I took it out of niceness. Just as I thought no silver, but I found 13 Michigan Quarters.

I hooked myself into 2 of their "unsearched rolls" and granted I knew I wasn't going to get any key dates, but 90% was 1940-1942, 2 for the 50's a couple from the 30's @ 9.95 a roll i just as well bought 4 of the $4 rolls, been better off, at lease I would of had twice the amount of coins!

    1864!

Not exactly in mint condition, perhaps "Good"? How rare is it to find such an old Indian Cent as 1864? It was the only interesting coin in a $25 box of cents.

I have no idea! What do I need to do to find out?

I wonder if there is/was an "L" on it.
