    ..but not Flea Market Purchases...

Was puttering around a Flea Market/Antiques type place this afternoon while the wife did her thing and came across a glass case with some old notes in it.. thought they were a bit steep considering their condition.. not the best photos as it was through the glass and the light wasn't great but at least it gave me something to do while I was there :)

The CSA Notes are definitely on the high side.

Did you buy any of these? The reason I ask is b/c I have seen several posts from forums over the past & generally speaking, when you say "steep" most collectors would quietly agree with you (but say nothing). In general, most flea-market sellers know less about banknotes than coin dealers (& that's not saying much) so they tend to ask a "king's ransom" for the most common items (typically over graded).

I’m a coin collector, an antique dealer and I love CSA Notes. Antique dealers usuals more as they know very little about coins and paper money. I’ve bought from some because they were too low. I can’t speak for the obsolete notes but as I said, those CSA notes are high.

I like the CSA Graded notes, to many fakes floating around otherwise
to take a chance, the top 7 though really cool, condition issues would
    just make these fillers.

Ouch! On the prices and conditions. I hope you told them those paper clips could leave permanent impressions.
