    Here's a denarius of Octavian with Pax on the obverse.

    Obv.: Diademed head of Pax right; behind, cornucopiae and before, olive-spray
    Rev.: CAESAR DIVI F - Octavian, in military attire, standing right, with right hand raised and sceptre over left shoulder
    Mint: Brundisium or Rome (ca 32-31 BC)
    Wt./Size/Axis: 3.54g / 20mm / -

    Although I can't really say I like one denarius above all the rest, I have always loved the expression of Roma's face on this early, RR denarius.

    One of my fav coins is this sestertius of a very young Gordian III. The picture was taken with a scanner, it is incredibly more eye-appealing in hand.
