This is a really nice and clean penny. How do you know when to send for grading? PCGS? Haven't sent anything before
not worth the grading fees, you'd have to receive a ms68 or above on this coin to be worth it and with the pics provided I don't think it would be that high. Nice looking coin though. As far as to know when to have it graded it takes knowledge, experience and a good eye. I suck at grading after a certain point.
On modern high mintage coins it really does. I notice though that older more rare coins seem to get a pass on certain things.
Your obverse photos are blurry. Can you get better shots? It appears to have some doubling, but most likely just plating issues as it is a lousy Zincoln.
Greetings Mountain Man. I need more practice with the camera, a tutor maybe. I think this is better I attached a reverse that I thought was more clear as well. Thank you for your attention to detail.
Well I see why it appeared double die I attached the wrong picture of the obverse. The last one is better. Ugh
Does it in any way change your thoughts about grading since it is a more clear picture showing details with out a the blurry stuff?
@Superloop? Have you tried this? Although the pics. are fine, it needs more cropping. Try a program called PhotoScape (FREE Download). Try the cropping in circles choice. Too take Pics., try this method. You don't necessarily need to use the timer.
I will do that thanks. I keep forgetting to send pictures full size instead of thumbnail. The tab is so little it just doesn't stand out to me when I'm making sure I get the right button to get the pictures and post. I'm a little slow this I know but like every body got to start somewhere lol. Thanks for the tip much appreciated
