Borg, its a N-8 or maybe its a N-20 or... reminds me of the ole Johnny Cash song.. something about stealing parts to build him a caddy... LOL.. It is pretty cool looking actually. Now where are my snips....
OK! I'm stumped. I cannot find any 1798 reverse with a combination of the Lowest outside leaf on the left close to the bottom of the right bottom of the N AND a leaf under the left upright of D. I now see the leaf is at the outer curve of D. The closest I see are S-152 and 1798 NC-1. I am not confident in either.
It appears to be the overdate so I would say it is probably S-152. (No I didn't really try to attribute it.) Here's one of mine, sorry the image is washed out. Easily attributable too.
I have it just marked 1798/7 - and I did not go any farther. I actually let people handle this coin. Now to go try yours.
I think the OP's coin had 4 large cuds that fell off and it is a one of a kind 20,000 dollar coin. jk.
It is a 1798, but look at the gap between the ends of the wreath compared to the S above it. There are only three varieties that even come close. On this one it is just about centered under the right edge of the S. The gap is noticeably further left on the other two.
