    I've always wanted one of these neat temple and cult statue reverses of Salonina. I'm a huge fan of architectural coins in general, and coins with a clear cult statue are the cream of the crop.

    I picked up this rather nice, high-silver content ant for under 10 bucks. Amazing.


    Unfortunately, mine has a bit of flan raggedness, and much of the legend is missing due to an off center reverse strike. If you have a better one, please post it!!

    Cologne, AD 259-260 (Joint reign).
    Obv: SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust, right.
    Rev: DEAE SEGETIAE, Dea Segetia, nimbate, standing facing in tetrastyle temple.
    Refs: RIC 5; Cohen 36; RCV 10631; Göbl 902c; Elmer 96; Hunter 21.
    Notes: Some attribute to Lyons mint, AD 258.
