Strike-Through Error ~ 2000 P Massachusetts ATB Quarter

Hello my friends. I haven't been in the Error Coin section in quite some time. I just acquired this piece today and wanted to share what looks to be a large struck through Error on this 2000 P Massachusetts state quarter.

Any light that could be shed on this piece would be helpful, as I believe this is my first stuck-through error coin.

I can't remember what this is called. @paddyman98 & @Fred Weinberg Pretty sure it's not struck through.

On the other hand, there seems to be some sort of "double image" in the struck through area. Hmm. Unsure what it is. Wait to hear from the experts.

My first impression is an impaired planchet as the core isn't showing.

Definitely genuine.

It had to be something very thin. It very likely could be part of a clad layer from another coin that was struck into it.
