Just got this in today(i won it on the 2nd)..you will remember in the past i'd bought a replica coin of an MFB(man-faced-bull), while this one is bronze and lil worn, i can still see him in there and for a nice price too..

Great example of the type. The bronzes seem scarce compared to the silver. Nice catch!

Nice! I bid on one of these (and lost) that ended on the 2nd... o_O
If it is the one I was bidding on, you definitely got it at a good price.
I was bidding for the Nike. The mfb is pretty cool too :)

Nice catch, @ominus1! I only have the Ar version with nymph (Parthenope?). Rough surface, but a nice portrait underneath. And a runner on the flan.

When I purchased this coin, it was the depiction of Nike that caught my attention.

..i wonder if the obverse isn't supposed to be the goddess Parthenope?..it sure is a lot different from other Apollo bust i've seen on Greek coins of the era...

..i have seen some beautiful Greek coins here featuring the god Achelous ..and i am now aware of the other artistic flavors such as Nike being the seller for them...works of art indeed...:)
