Cant find this one.. 1880 S With Doubled 1st 8 Morgan.. No other markers I could find?? Any help? It is near the VAM7 but not right.. Maybe a VAM64 with wear? And Another one.. Good day with some "Junk" Morgans I got.. Yea! 1881 O w/ Doubled 1 and Maybe Bottom of the 8 also a gouge M on Obverse and high left MM?? Oh and Crack under the date.. As I look at it.. The Second 1 in Date has a clash?Doubling?
With the 1880-S are you referring to the area under the first 8? (I highlighted in the pic). If so, that isn't doubling, it's an effect of toning, like a shadow, here's an example VAMworld - 1880-S VAM-26 The picture shows doubling of the first 8, and the area under the 8 is created by toning.
Found this 1921 P .. So many VAM's for this year.. Couldn't match it.. Crack on Rev. Through right wing. Doubling? Or Machine? Doubling on the Beak? And a Doubling on the Reeding with a Die crack that nearly goes all around the rim.. just at the reed?
