I haven't posted up any niceties lately, so I decided to end the drought with this tasty little morsel... an 1837 Hard Times token.

I like it. Obverse looks HT 47, reverse HT 48.

I hope your computer monitors bring out the color on this one. It really is a lovely piece.

 

I love it, millions for defense, but not one penny for tribute.

 

I won't even hazard a guess on grade or attribution but thanks for sharing. Very cool.

 

Unfortunately it doesn't, and I can't adjust it because I can't see the differences in the colors to adjust it.
