Interesting that you found a counter stamped NRA nickel. I’ve found several when I was CRHing. Someone in Connecticut has a bunch of time on their hands, perhaps.

It looks like your specimen has the same offset in the lettering as the specimens I put forth. If nothing else Keith, it's a curiosity that a few of us have shared in. Mine are in a short tube I had lying around. And apparently, I kept more specimens than I thought I did.
