That is about as bad as I have seen.

 

Is it possible the "error" look was fabricated? Yet, the lettering appears sound.

 

I have no clue whats wrong with this cent but everything i've found so far and posted on here ended up with 3 pages of people shouting POST MINT with pitch forks and torches and such.

I dont care.. this is going in my cool stuff collection

 

The coin was not properly washed before it was plated. It will deteriorate over time.

 

That coin needs proactive with refining mask....LOL

 

But... its 20 years old and almost completly red. Well.. as red as it could be in this condition.

 

Thats extremely blistered, I'd hang on to it. I noticed awhile back Wexler had one for sale. Who knows about the future...

 

And I thought the US mint only offered Braille during 2009.

 

I have a few equal to or worse than this one in BU. I can't find the pictures! Here's one that's pretty bad.
