I found another crappy coin in the spare change in my cup holder today. I'm just trying to decide if it's roller lines or not. The lines on the coin all travel in parallel to each other on both sides. The obverse lines are hardly noticeable but they are there which makes me think rollermark lines right? But then I got looking closer and not only are some of the lines incuse on the reverse but some are also in relief. Seeing that I started thinking maybe die polish lines? Just a warning but I have a few pics that follow, lol.
The obverse just appears to have circulation wear. The reverse looks like a planchet cladding error, but I'm not well versed in those, so hopefully someone the is can post. @Fred Weinberg, @paddyman98, @JCro57?
I'm not sure. I'm thinking flow lines radiate from the center and these all run laterally. I may be wrong on that though, lol
It's definitely got some circulation wear but when I realized the lines on the obverse and reverse paralleled each other it kind of seemed like too much of a coincidence, but I'm probably wrong on that too, lol.
