Been collecting for 5 years came across 2 different coin collections . Going through them and itemizing. They were in cigar boxes, baggies, ammo box. Baggies etc over 5000 coins. These in pic im most curious about so far.

The .925 .800 etc are the silver content for the coins. If you go to the site linked below, and search the date and type of coin, you should be able to get all the info you need on each coin. I searched your 1763 3 pence coin.

That's interesting, because I would find it invigorating.

That would be hours and hours of fun. Especially if the coins you've already shown in this thread are indicative of the broad nature of all the coins.

    You're lucky.

I love the Hawaii dime, the Kentucky expo piece and the Thalers, could you post more pics, front and back?

I love going through coins, but it can be tiring detail work.

Looks like you got a neat lot of mixed stuff. I don't see anything of great value there, though there are a couple of pieces I'm not immediately familiar with...love the older world silver though.

FYI if you use a members name put an @ in front of it. Type 3-4 letters exactly like they do in the name and it will pull them up. Turns blue after you post if you did it correctly. @Home doctor

Perhaps the shed was more important to her then the coins. A win-win for both of you. You did very well, congratulations. Welcome to CT, keep posting those coins!

An alternative to Numista: Go to NGC homepage, Resources, Price Guides. They list a range of prices per condition and other info.

To navigate put the country, the year then the denomination and it pulls up a selection. Just choose your coin. @Home doctor
