Consecutive $2 star notes with low serial numbers from 2 Texas Coin and Currency Sets I have that BEP issued in 2008 (only 2000 sets sold). The $2 star notes are from a run size of 16,000. Note that in each set, there is a $1, $2, $5, and $10 bill with identical serial numbers (except the $2 star note that has a star at the end). Neat, rare sets that I think will only appreciate in value over time.
Happy holidays to you, Mr. Q. I see those sets selling on Ebay for reasonable prices, considering the relative rarity of the sets. I had 3, and sold one not that long ago (dummy me, it was a consecutive numbered one to the two I have left). I'll hold on to my remaining two sets.
Received three one dollar star notes in change from a machine at self checkout but only two are consecutive. I am pressing them under books now. Merry Christmas!
